RESCUE: Watch the dramatic rescue of a young girl trapped for three days in the rubble of a devastating earthquake in Turkey, and her subsequent reunification with her mother. Following a massive earthquake that killed hundreds and destroyed thousands of homes, the Israeli Rescue Team, led by a Boys Town alumnus, was first on the scene to offer assistance. A YEAR OF TRIUMPH A TIME OF TRAGEDY: The summer of 2006 was a bittersweet time for the students and faculty of Boys Town Jerusalem. While one of our graduating students was being honored as Israel’s top young scientist, the campus played host to residents of northern Israel forced to flee their homes to escape the ongoing fighting during the Second Lebanon War.
