When the bell rang on the last day of school, over 70 Boys Town Jerusalem 10th graders fought a hard battle to be among the lucky group selected to continue studying over summer vacation! These students were vying to join the prestigious, highly demanding “Project Michael” program, a top training course given to Israeli officers and leaders in the hi-tech industry. |

As the newest and youngest students on campus, the incoming seventh graders at BTJ faced a busy, demanding and slightly overwhelming first week of school. But in one activity, they joined the entire student body as equals—the school’s annual volunteer effort to sort and pack over 2,500 bountiful Rosh Hashana food parcels for needy Israeli families.

An honors team of nine Boys Town Jerusalem Junior High School students put the school on the national robotics map—and had a great time in the process-- by reaching the semi-finals of the national contest for FIRST, (For Inspiration and Recognition of Scientific Technology) a prestigious international robotics competition.
