Naaleh

Since 2001, Boys Town has served as the first home in Israel for some of the country’s newest citizens -- young immigrants from France and the former Soviet Union. These young men live and study at BTJ within the framework of the Jewish Agency's Naaleh program, which enables teenagers to make aliyah before -- or without -- their parents.

Boys Town furnishes them with a home in every sense of the word, providing room and board 365 days a year, including special programs and activities over school vacations, clothing, medical services, pocket money and even a gift on their birthdays.

Naaleh gives students a strong education in Jewish studies and in-depth familiarity with the Land of Israel. There is a special curriculum for the olim that includes intensive ulpan Hebrew language studies and high-level academic school courses. Even outings around the country are specially designed to introduce the teenagers to the heritage and history of their new homeland.
